What "Certified" means
Certification is not a static award. It is a continuously monitored state governed by automated legal and delivery validation systems.
Organizations must maintain compliance to retain certification:
- Legal status is continuously validated
- Structural completeness is monitored
- Delivery patterns are assessed for coherence
- Organizations may be selected for random audit
Certification can be paused or revoked if conditions change. This isn't a feature—it's how trust is maintained. The public verification page shows funders and stakeholders that your organization meets ongoing accountability standards.

Frequently asked questions
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade immediately and we'll prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing period.
What happens if I exceed my SMS limit?
Pro plans pay $0.05 per additional message. Certified plans pay $0.03. We'll notify you at 80% usage so there are no surprises.
What's the difference between Last1.org and Last1.app?
Last1.org is the nonprofit standards body that defines certification requirements. Last1.app (operated by Last 1 Enterprises, LLC) is the platform you use. They're structurally separate to ensure certification independence.
Do beneficiaries pay anything?
Never. Radio Check and all beneficiary features are always free for the people being served. Only organizations pay for the platform.
